Megan Cannone, LCSW-C (Therapist)
Hi, I’m Megan Cannone, and I’m here to support you on your journey toward healing and growth. With over 15 years of experience in the mental health and oncology fields, I bring a compassionate, relationship-based approach to therapy. I earned my MSW from Western Carolina University in 2009, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals. From my early days in a psychiatric unit to over six years in hospice care and more recently, supporting young adults with cancer, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the emotional challenges people face during difficult times.
As a certified oncology social worker and oncology patient navigator, I specialize in helping individuals navigate not only the emotional aspects of cancer but also the intersection of mental health and chronic illness. Whether you’re coping with grief, illness, or life transitions, I’m here to meet you where you are with empathy, respect, and expertise.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know one another and exploring your unique goals for therapy. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported, allowing you to open up at your own pace. I believe that building a trusting relationship is essential, and I am committed to providing a safe environment for you.
